Culture – enabling cultural participation
Enabling
Cultural participation is a central component of a vibrant society. It facilitates encounters, creates a sense of belonging, and opens up spaces where people can express themselves, develop, and connect with one another. However, culture is not universally accessible: social, financial, or structural barriers can hinder participation—especially in formats that arise from the involvement of volunteers and local communities.
The Linsi Foundation supports smaller, participatory cultural initiatives that bring people together and enable joy, expression, and co-creation. Our focus is on cultural activities that are designed collaboratively—so that an open, diverse, and vibrant cultural landscape can grow in which all people find their place.
A human world without culture is impossible. Culture is an expression of human existence and plays a major role in social cohesion. It is the foundation of a diverse and democratic society.
Vibrant participatory cultural landscape
We promote low-threshold, accessible cultural formats that are designed collaboratively—such as choirs, amateur theater, dance or music clubs, open art groups, and collaborative stage and exhibition projects. The focus is on creative self-efficacy, shared expression, and the experience of connectedness.
